Molloys Lifestyle Pharmacies group is an established business headed by CEO James Geraghty. Starting with one shop in Garden Street Ballina, the group now has nine stores located around Roscommon, Ballina and more recently in Achill. In the last 2 years the group has invested in developing the ecommerce side of the business and have a clear vision of the route it is taking. Head of Marketing and Ecommerce for the group, Raymond Horkan will be sitting on the business panel, giving his insights and experience in building and running a successful online business.
Raymond explained it has been a “good challenge” growing the online presence of the company. It has opened up endless opportunities for the group. Having key people in place and working together as a team Molloys have made their online presence stand out with excellent use of SEO, blogs, social media and strategic planning.
After speaking with Raymond his passion for online retail is clear, as he speaks of the visions they have going forward and the opportunities that are arising. Promoting everything from beauty to nutrition online, Raymond and his team are “keeping focused on the next big trends, products and brands to try to keep one step ahead.”
Having been at the front line building the ecommerce side of the group, Raymond has seen all the highs and lows that accompany on-line retail marketing.
